Deepavali is especially special if it is "Thalai Deepavali"- the first one after the wedding. Newly weds are pampered by family members and showered with gifts. During Thalai Deepavali, the newly weds go to the bride's parental home for revelry. The day starts very early, around 3.30 - 4 in the morning, with the ritual of the early morning oil bath. The music of Nadaswaram and Mrudangam floats on the fresh morning air. After the bath the bride and groom accept their new clothes, kept at the feet of God and also the Lehiyam (a form of medicine). Taking blessings from the elders, they burst the first crackers of the day. Usually a vast range of crackers is bought, with costs running into thousands of rupees.

1.choosing the right location

Choosing a perfect location is an important task while choosing an destination marriage.The location of your wedding not only determine the mood, but also the travel, time and your budget. You want your guest to come through all the way comfort and make them to speak about your wedding “Oh that  was so awesome”.your wedding elements, lighting, flower decors, location and  the overall  ambience  should say something about your personal style and feel.Then  why not to choose destinations like Goa Beach, back waters of kerela , Andaman & nicobar island etc...

2.Hold your wedding  in right time

When choosing destination marriage it is important to think about the budget, because during seasonal in popular destination you may have more crowd, fewer hotels and venue availability.Therefore you can reserve / block hotels and venues 6-12months in advance.so that your guest can book flights and accommodation before price go high.so you can save some money of your guest and your’s ultimately.

If you're hosting a wedding in a distant locality, you will need to entrust at least part of the planning to someone else's capable hands. A wedding planner can shoulder the burden of researching and handling local vendors dealing with logistics like tent rentals and lighting and handling any last-minute fire.
